Introduction of Basic Solar PV Systems

It always includes two kinds of PV systems in general: 1.DC-DC Solar System; 2.DC-AC Solar System.

1. DC-DC Solar System,it consists of solar panel,solar panel mounting structure,solar charge controller,DC loads and other accessories (battery if necessary).It is very simple for household use to meet basic electricity demand or some outdoor activities etc.No darkness and no hot season any longer,full charged mobile phone for real-time entertainment and contact.The free solar energy has totally changed our life style and improved our life in a convenient way at low cost.

2. DC-AC Solar System,it consists of solar panel,solar panel mounting system,solar charge controller,inverter,AC loads and other accessories.Sometimes,solar charge controller and inverter will be formed as all-in-one inverter with controller inbuilt. The three main components to a solar power system are solar panels to absorb solar energy, an inverter / inverters to convert that energy, and mounting system to safely secure the panels. Other items you will need are switches, cables, meters and connectors. There are also a huge range of optional products available, designed to optimize a PV system such as batteries, DC/AC combiner (surge protection devices), monitoring devices and more.

How Does Solar PV Work?

Solar PV panels absorbs solar radiation from the sun and then converts solar energy into an electrical current. When the solar panels are installed, they should be mounted at an optimum angle and direction to optimize the amount of sun that hits them.The solar panels collect the solar energy, converting direct current (DC) to alternative current (AC) by an inverter.A solar charge controller can ensure the stable and high efficient power generation,meanwhile protecting the batteries and the loads.

Off Grid Solar System

The off grid solar system harvests free energy from the sun by converting light energy into electric energy which is stored in batteries. The system is working under electricity supply operating independently from public grid connections. In the daylight with sunshine,solar energy will provide the loads with the electricity meanwhile charging the batteries for storage.While at night or bad weather,the battery packs will release the electricity for DC loads or through an inverter for AC loads. The grid charging and supply is perfect supplement for such application,also can reduce battery capacity to save some cost.However,it still can be running without the grid,in some places, it is called “Standalone solar system”.

On Grid Solar System

The on-grid solar system is the most cost-effective type for solar system which is also known as “grid tie” solar system. It can be set up if there is a stable utility grid also the power consumption is completely happened during the daylight.It does not require battery investment. If the system has produced more power than which being consumed, the surplus will be automatically fed to the grid and your electricity bill will be cut down.Before the installation of this solar system,it is necessary to check with your local grid officer.If the grid is not allowed for selling solar power,it is no issue that you could ask a CT or smart meter from us,then on-grid solar system will provide solar power for your own loads only.
